Type the words. Walk the quest path.
Right letters turn green where they stand. A wrong key never takes your progress away.
Use a real keyboard if you have one — or tap the keys on screen.
Each trail is a little harder. Start at the Hollow if you are new.

Quill's Type Quest teaches keyboarding — where the keys live and which finger reaches each one — and reinforces spelling, because a word only counts when every letter is right.
Four trails build up in order: home row words (a s d f · j k l), common 3–4 letter words, 5–6 letter words, then short lines that practise the space bar.
The on-screen keyboard lights up the next key and names the finger to use, so your child learns key locations instead of hunting. A wrong key never removes progress — the letter gives a small wobble and the hint gets louder. Accuracy and words-a-minute are shown quietly at the bottom: there is no countdown and no way to run out of time. A physical keyboard is best; on a tablet the on-screen keys work just as well.
